FLY RODS

TROUT FLY ROD 1 This little rod is an 8' 5 Piece 3 wt. Built on a Five Rivers FTL series 57,000,000 modulus blank these little rods feel weightless in your hand and offer phenominal line control. These rods are best suited to still open water with tiny dry flies and small trout. I would never again use this rod with anything heavier than 6x. PRICE $350

TROUT FLY ROD 2 Built on American Tackle's American Elite series blank this 2 Piece 9' 5wt has a true moderate fast action and offers above average line control. This rod is simply a pleasure to fish with. PRICE $290

TROUT FLY ROD 3 I believe that this is the best truly fast action rod made. Built on a Five Rivers FT 6 wt blank these rods are for hauling in brutes. If you are fishing at close range these rods will only load in the tip. If you suddenly need to change from fishing 10' from the shore to 50' out there is no need to go grab your float tube or change rods these rods will push out 50' of line without even trying. With extremely soft tips you can fish 7x without worrying about popping off your fly just as you can throw an 8lb tippet on for horsing in the fish you want to write home about. This is the only rod that I have fished with that fishes as well at 10' as it does at 50' PRICE $350 MAY ONLY

TROUT FLY ROD 4 Built on American Tackle's American Heritage 2 piece blank this 9' fast action blank excells in light presentation while having lot's of backbone for stream fishing. PRICE $380

SPINNING RODS

TROUT SPINNING ROD 1 6' 1 piece extra light power fast action rod. This little rod is built on Pacific Bay's Rainforest II IM7 graphite blank and is perfect for most situations. There is a factory line rating of 4-10lb and I have found this is perfect for 6lb test. The factory lure rating is 1/32-5/16 but you can throw heavier lures if needed. PRICE $159 (There are still a few IM6 Rainforest blanks still available. The price for a rod built on 1 of these is $139)

TROUT SPINNING ROD 2 This is my choice when I am fishing for big trout in open water with 1/4 oz jigs. Built on an American Tackle American Elite blank this 2 pc. 6'6" fast action rod has a line rating of 6-10lb and a lure rating of 1/4-1/2. This rod excells in long casts when you get a good size lure on and has enough power to easily land any trout. PRICE $225

TROUT SPINNING ROD 3 Graphite USA has come up with an excellent little 5'6" rod for small streams. This is not your typical 5'6" ultralight. This rod actually has backbone. In late March I was landing 20+" trout out of a river and against the current with this fiberglass/graphite composite rod. PRICE $140

TROUT SPINNING ROD 4 Price is the main reason that I like this rod so much. Built on a 6' factory second blank you can have a rod that will out perform just about any rod in it's price range. PRICE $75
